Object of the game

The main object of this game is to have fun and test your football knowledge. Take part in an online quiz against fellow FIFA.com users, and see if you can top the rankings by answering many different questions about the FIFA World Cup™.

Subject areas

Each quiz consists of ten questions in two subject areas. Once you arrive at Level 3, you face additional questions from a third subject area. So if you’re serious about beating off the competition and securing a place at the top end of the Ranking, you’ll need to be an expert on every aspect of the FIFA World Cup!

Levels

There are three levels. At the beginning, you’re only authorised to enter level 1. As you move up the levels, the questions and the chance of earning points become harder.

If you reach at least 500 points in a level 1 quiz, you’ll be granted access to level 2.

If you reach at least 1000 points in a level 2 quiz, you’ll be authorised to enter level 3.

All access authorisations will be deleted daily at midnight (GMT).

Rankings

At the beginning of every week (Monday morning at 0.00 GMT), the ranking will be reset, and a new ranking begins. The best score, per level per day, will be totalled and accumulated across the week.

On Sunday evening, the overall score is thus 23,050 points.

Awards

Top players will receive the following awards at the end of a week:

	The player ranked 1st in the ranking
	The players ranked 2nd in the ranking
	The players ranked 3rd in the ranking
	The players ranked 4th to 10th in the ranking
	The players ranked 11th to 100th in the ranking

In addition, balls are awarded for especially active gaming.

The player has taken part 10 times
The player has taken part 50 times
The player has taken part 250 times
The player has taken part 1,000 times
The player has taken part 2,500 times
